With the purpose of generating a significant contribution to the environment and complying with the sustainable development objectives of the flower industry , ANDI , the National Business Association of Colombia and Asocolflores , the Colombian Association of Flower Exporters bless a partnership agreement that allow thecountry´s bloom fellowship to promote a circular saving in the Colombian countryside through the comprehensive direction of waste containers and promotion as well as the distinguish specialmanagement of post - consumption products yield by flush farms .

With the name Florece , the partnership of the two entities will seek , in its initial form , to handle several tons of packages and special and differentiated waste products such as data processor and computing gadget role , electrical dwelling appliances , battery , lead - superman batteries , and domesticated insecticide , by apply the strategies to end the cycle per second of these materials developed by Vision 30/30 and the Retorna Group , which are ANDI´s initiatives .

Therefore , the project will begin by training over 30,000 prole of the flower - growing sector in the categorisation of container and packaging made of composition board , newspaper , plastic , glass , and metal which are generated in the mess - halls and in other activities related to the productive processes . also , training will also be given to greet a special management for differentiated waste to be gather inside special areas at the farms . These will be collected and take to companies that change over them into new products , thus closing the circular economy cycle .

For the initial stage , Florece will conjoin forces with six companies from Chía , Facatativá , Cogua , and Cota . Then it will repeat the task in other flower - growing municipality along the Bogotá savannah and Antioquia .
