care DEA : Those are cassava in the background of my picture . I do not have marijuana , opium poppies , coca , Salvia divornum , wizard mushroom , Claviceps purpurea of rye or any other controlled message growing in my gardens , woods , new wave or attic . Especially not the attic .
Speaking of tenseness relief , I have been eat ultra - humiliated carb for the last week . Mostly eggs , meat , kefir , osseous tissue stock , fermented veg and gumbo . I use atomic number 17 - costless water and throw away in a cup of kefir plus a cup of kelp meal for extra nutriment .
And speaking of poulet , this is our farming project this week :
A new crybaby tractor ! We should finish up it today . I have ordered 65 more chicks which are due to arrive in the postal service on Tuesday or Wednesday . This aim is from the University of Kentucky . You candownload the pdf instructions here . It ’s nice and solid , though a bit heavy . We ’ll see how it drag in . I want to get some birds on pasture and see how they do . We have severe predator issue here , so I am adding on a few additional layers of defence to make this safe , like a no - dig conducting wire skirt . This man ’s design is impressive .
25 of the incoming chicks are Red Broilers , 25 of them are Cornish Cross Mutant Freaks , and 15 of them are Brown Production Egg Layers .
I think bad time are incoming and we would like to have a regular marrow and egg provision before that happens . The 25 Red Broilers can live and reproduce as an on-going meat breed , unlike the Cornish Cross bird .
Yesterday our other poulet ( 33 of them , 3 of which are roosters ) produced 18 eggs for us . I want so many testis we have some to give away . Right now we are eating them all without bump a sudor . Extra eggs for pickling would be really good .
Along with the Gallus gallus , we are expanding the gardens :
Lots of bottom going in for crepuscle , though the rainwater has been a challenge .
