Spring at a gorgeous public garden

Cherry Ong is taking us on another trip , today to a beautifulpublic gardenin Surrey , British Columbia . She say , “ Been scratch to visitDarts Hill Garden Parkto see the springtime ephemerals and thealpine garden . Got my indirect request today ! ”

Darts Hill was the home and garden of Edwin and Francisca Darts , and they donate it to the city in 1994 so that now everyone is welcome to visit and enjoy the beautiful garden .

These are thestepsto the principal house , and it is utterly beautiful !

The fallenrhododendronflowers and their curving stems make this a magical quad .

The rhododendron flower confetti is lovely against the woodland storey .

I gasped at the sight of these pinkish fawn lilies(Erythronium revolutum , Zones 6–8 ) . From what I understand , this is a turgid naturalized settlement that handle theslopeand a honorable part of bed 9 . It was a sight so dear that Mrs. Darts had the way of life lasso off every spring to leave them to blossom undisturbed .
