Trust me when I tell you that I am no Martha Stewart . I can not make a peachflambé . I can not hem pants ( which is really a bummer consider I ’m only 5’3’).I can not perfectly ice a cupcake .
With that said , I do wish to decorate for the holidays – not with atomic number 10 plasticeggs or anything , but some nice fall leave and pumpkins in fall . So lastyear , mightily around the beginning of November , I noticed a lovely maculation ofbittersweet vine growing on the bound of my property . Bittersweet is a beautifulplant that gets covered with lovely orangish and reddened berry in autumn . Hmmmm … theperfect accent to my vacation festive décor , I thought . So I proceeded to wrap up itaround my porch railings and thrust pieces of it into my container stack .
Thanksgiving make out and run short and with it , so did my now shattered and weatheredbittersweet vines , replaced with evergreens and glittery prow .

I had all but forgotten about the semisweet ribbon until the followingspring when I start to notice these funny little green plant life germinate upall over the office . I pulled them out , assuming that they were just some earlyspring weeds . But they kept coming . And coming . And getting bigger . And great . I finally realized that these were semisweet baby , set on taking overeverything in their path , pop the sidetrack off my household , and break inthrough the window so as to tantalize me in my eternal rest .
It take me that integral twelvemonth to win the battle against the bittersweetoffspring and unfortunately , we fall back some innocent industrial plant in the process .
So in the spirit of the holidays let me pop the question these word : Have a wonderfulThanksgiving and stay away from the bittersweet .
