My mania is hydrangeas and crepe myrtles . I was secernate French pancake Vinca minor would n’t grow on our windy James Jerome Hill in central New Jersey . However , after an initial battle , the ones I implant in 1996 are still there with raw self - seeded unity filling in .
“ The deep pink is ‘ Tonto ’ and the unclouded pink is ‘ Hopi ’ . In other part of the garden I have ‘ Pink Velour ’ and a few that have ego - seeded in lighter pink and a pinky - purple . My hubby made the obelisks for me this spring . The perennial beds have undergo constant variety as I learn more about what works , what works without too much work , and what I like . ”
Wow , those crape myrtle are gorgeous , Ruth Ann ! I love how they make a pictorial backdrop for your perennial beds .
