The SAFGA ( South African Flower Grower Association ) held a grower ’s day and an AGM on October 18 , 2023 . The sidereal day started with visiting Mobjadi Boerdery and Nedplant at Hekpoort , South Africa . Thereafter , members attended the AGM and had lunch and the one-year prime vendue at the van Gaalen Cheese factory farm .
The official start of the day was at the Mobjadi Boerdery farm . A group of 60 consist of flower cultivator and supplier to the cut bloom industry were present for the visit . Entrepreneur , manager , and owner Welma Viljoen provide a brief account of how and when they embarked on this venture as " towny " with no prior expertness , underscore that anything is achievable with persistence , finding , and teamwork . The AGM was apply at the Van Gaalen Restaurant and Cheese Factory , after which everyone was treated to a wonderful tiffin . After dejeuner the annual flush auction sale was hold . With the money collected from the auction sale , the SAFGA committee and fellow member will make up one’s mind to donate the money to Greek valerian organizations . This successful networking event was held to promote interactions with stakeholder in the flower cultivator industriousness .
