CONCLUSION:
Overall , a passably unspoiled year … especially considering that my spring garden was mostly destroyed byAminopyralid - polluted manure(I’m looking at you , tomatoes ! ) .
The numbers on crop are approximative , since many things were eaten in the garden and never made it to the graduated table to be weighed . We also did n’t bother press most of the salads we consume – or the edible weeds we mixed into flurry - fries . to boot , the yield Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree are n’t yielding much of anything yet , since we ’ve only been on this attribute just over two years . Chill hours last wintertime were pathetic so the blueberries also failed to crop well at all … and the blackberry bush were also smite by vicious toxic manure .
As for the blog , since its prescribed re - launch on August 30th , we ’ve gone from get a fistful of visits a twenty-four hours to average over a hundred . give thanks you all for stop by and contributing your thoughts . Gardening – even survival horticulture – is much more playfulness when it ’s shared .
Have a wonderful New Year – 2013 ’s gardening is going to sway !
