Tomatoes gone wild

Is it just me , or do love apple have a secret supernatural ability to notice when you ’ve blend on holiday ? They seem to sense the minute you are unable to insure on them daily and go completely bonkers and take over your entire backyard .

My folk read a two - ish workweek summer holiday every twelvemonth . Over the years , we ’ve criss crossed the country , logging hundreds of hour of drive while eating sandwich out of a tank . Every year I try on my best to blarney the twisted branch back into their flimsywire cageswithout snapping them off and killing the wee baby tomatoes . But it ’s commonly too late . There was one summer that the zucchini vines and tomato plants went to state of war , facing off in the midriff of two planters like the Jets and the Sharks of West Side Story .

The excitement of seeing what can chance in two weeks when you leave your garden unattended is kind of fun . Perhaps it ’s why we ’ve never changed our holiday agenda . perchance we will next year?But probably not .
