Pretty up a birdbath when feathered friends won’t come by

When it became evident that our cat would keep birds from visiting our birdbath , it was time to “ pretty it up . ” A $ 3 1000 - sales agreement bowling ball was the perfect answer . I placed it in the middle of the birdbath and filled in around it with clipping from my garden . It make a great focal spot to regard from my kitchen - sink windowpane . The cut have even taken root , so I can pot them up to share or plant them back into the garden . Throughout the growing time of year , I highlight dissimilar flora for an ongoing display.—Terie Rawn , Newfield , New York
